FAQs About PALS Certification

To enroll in our PALS certification course, you just have to click on the “Enroll” button, then select your location and register. After you register for the class, our team will contact you shortly.
 

The duration of the PALS online course varies depending on the individual’s pace of learning. On average, the online portion of the course may take between 30 min to 3 hours. After the completion of the online course, the skill test will take about 20 mins to 1 hour.

Once you acquire your PALS certificate, it is valid for two years from the date of issuance. Healthcare providers should renew their certification before it expires to maintain their credentials. They will also receive Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.

While it’s not mandatory to have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support(ACLS) certification before taking a PALS course. However, having a valid basic life support (BLS) certificate is important.

You need to score 80% or above on your skill test to pass your PALS and get certified.
